Witness a Fulani Family’s Journey to Faith

January 06, 2025

Learn how God’s love is bringing hope to the Fulani people.

Today, we celebrate the transformative work of the gospel among Pular-speaking communities, primarily from the Fulani people. Known for their nomadic lifestyle, vibrant culture, and resilience, they are experiencing the newness of life in Christ.

Cultural Insight:

The Fulani rely heavily on oral traditions, making audio ministries like THRU the BIBLE particularly impactful. Many face limited access to education and healthcare, underscoring the need for spiritual nourishment through the gospel. One listener in West Africa shared:

“Hello, I greet you all and may the peace of God be with us all. For me, just a testimony of what God really did for me about five months ago. I had a little brother who had left the village to come to my house. Shortly after, he fell ill, and we did everything, but it was not going well. One day I met a team who were talking about Jesus Christ, saying, ‘Come, Jesus Christ, the only Savior, who heals our illness and frees us from Satan.’ I had the courage to approach them for my little brother's illness. They came to the house and prayed for him. Later, when they found out I was Fulani, they asked me to follow TTB Pulaar on the radio. A few days later, my little brother was completely healed, and since then, my family and I have been listening to TTB Pulaar. Truly, Jesus Christ is wonderful.”

Prayer Points:

  • Thank God for His work among Pular-speaking families.
  • Pray for the gospel to bring freedom to those in spiritual bondage.
  • Ask for wisdom and perseverance for broadcasters and translators sharing God’s Word in Pulaar.

Let’s pray for 2025 to be a year of spiritual breakthroughs among Pular communities. May the healing and hope of Jesus Christ transform lives and draw many more families to Him.
