Welcome, World Prayer Team. Today we’re rejoicing in the power of God’s Word—alive, burning like a fire, and changing the lives of listeners like Hirak who hopped aboard the Bible Bus in Assam, India. He shares:
“I first learned about Thru the Bible from a friend. Little did I know that watching this program would lead to a change in my life. As I began watching the teachings from the book of Proverbs, I found meaning and purpose in my life. Before, I was ensnared by various addictions, haunted by past traumas, and consumed by self-pity. My life seemed directionless and filled with despair, causing great concern for my parents. Despite their worries, I struggled to break free from my destructive habits. However, through the teachings of Bhakti Boson (TTB-Assamese) and the strength imparted to me by God, I found the courage and determination to overcome them. Witnessing my transformation, my parents were amazed and inspired. They, too, began watching and are eager to learn and grow alongside me.”
Praise God He is working in Assam, and He is at work in our own lives. Let’s thank Him for that today.
Heavenly Father, we are in awe of Your incredible Word. As it goes out today, we pray that it reaches hearts that are longing for Your truth and ready for change. May more people be rescued by Your grace and for Your glory. Remind us today of the power of Your Word in our own lives and help us walk away from anything and anyone that keeps us from drawing close to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.
