Standing strong in Somalia

In our previous prayer travels, we’ve witnessed the significant challenges faced by believers in Somalia as they worship and live for Jesus. So together let’s rejoice in this email from a listener named Faduma. He writes:
“THRU the BIBLE has not only touched my life but also changed it. Listening is not easy due to the opposition from the dominant Muslim community, but we continue to listen with joy. I am excited that by the end of the program, I will have read and followed through with the Bible teachings.”
What a great reminder of the resilience and faith of those who engage with God’s Word despite immense obstacles. Let’s join together in prayer for Faduma and others like him who remain steadfast in believing the Bible. Here’s how you can pray:
- Pray for protection and boldness. Pray for safety and courage for listeners who face opposition or persecution for tuning in to THRU the BIBLE. May they be shielded from harm and strengthened in their faith.
- Pray for endurance and strength. Ask God to provide our brothers and sisters with the perseverance and fortitude they need as they grow in their faith and deepen their understanding of God’s Word.
- Pray for transformation and impact. Ask God to transform the lives of all those who hear and believe His Word. May the enthusiasm and commitment of listeners like Faduma inspire others to hop aboard the Bible Bus with us.
