Praying John 10:16 in Kuwait

“And other sheep I have which are not of this fold; them also I must bring, and they will hear My voice; and there will be one flock and one shepherd.” -John 10:16
Welcome to Kuwait, a small country in the Arabian Peninsula and home to millions of Muslims. Sunni Islam is the official religion of Kuwait, and 60% of the people follow that faith. 25% percent are Shi’a Muslims and 14% are Christians. The underground church is growing quickly in numbers and maturity. Today, let’s praise God for them and use John 10:16 as our guide, asking Him to bring more Kuwaitis into His fold.
Father, we’re grateful that You are our good Shepherd. We thank You for how You love us, protect us, lead us, and provide for us. As Your Word goes out today, we pray many Kuwaitis will hear Your voice and become Your sheep. Father, we look forward to the day when we will gather around Your throne as one flock, worshipping You and praising You for Your tender care. In the precious name of Jesus, amen.
