“I’m afraid to become a Christian,” shares Abdou, a fellow listener in Senegal. Here’s more of his story.
“I am a Muslim, raised by Muslims, but I confess that Thru the Bible in Pular gives me a lot of information and truth about God and the salvation of man. I am convinced that the Bible is the Word of God and that Jesus Christ is the way to eternal life, but I come from a very large Muslim family that would be angry if I leave Islam. Please send me your prayers and your advice.”
Do a quick google search on “punishment for Muslims who turn to Jesus Christ” and you’ll find it’s a decision with extreme consequences. As God’s Word goes out in Senegal today, pray for the salvation and the safety of our listeners. Pray against fear and for the freedom to share their new faith with those they love most.
