Count on God to bring good out of bad situations

And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. -Romans 8:28
As you look back on the last few years, can you recall when God brought good out of a bad situation? A pastor in Vietnam tells us his story.
“My church is in a rural area, and we were hit hard by Covid. When the authorities sealed the church with the red sign of quarantine, we stopped all church activities. We were worried our people would renounce their faith and turn their backs on God. Though we were not equipped for church online, your media players provided access to God’s Word for our members during the lockdowns. The teaching was very helpful in this critical period. I dare say they learned even more than they would have in church. We should have known we could count on God to bring good out of this horrible mess. Now we continue to use the players even though we have resumed Sunday worship meetings. Our people are more knowledgeable than ever before. What seemed like a hindrance has actually been a blessing.”
Romans 8:28 promises us God works on our behalf in all circumstances. Praise Him for that in your life and in the lives of these Vietnamese believers. Pray for all those who have yet to see His good in their darkest moments. Ask Him to give them courage and faith as they wait on Him.
