The most powerful spiritual weapon

Bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, if anyone has a complaint against another; even as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. -Colossians 3:13
Marriage is … what? Joyous? Difficult? Beautiful? Long? How would you fill in the blank? Does it depend on the day?
Welcome, World Prayer Team. Our journey through southern Africa begins as we visit with Ade who asks for our prayers:
“My marriage was falling apart. I held grudges against my husband for many years. I am thankful the Lord has given me the opportunity to listen to your message from Colossians today. I really needed it. Please pray for us. I want to forgive my husband and have him forgive me, but it is hard.”
God’s Word tells us a good marriage is a gift, but as we know, it’s also a lot of work! So how do we fight against the people and things that can derail and destroy us? The most powerful weapon we have is prayer.
So, today let’s intercede for this listener and all those who join us on the Bible Bus. Ask God to turn our quarrels, complaints, and worries into prayers. Through His grace may we bear with one another, forgive each other, and find the joy and beauty of living together each day.
Tomorrow we’ve got a special message from Gregg Harris. Let’s meet here.
