God loves us and hates sin

“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” -Proverbs 9:10
Traveling THRU the BIBLE together, God’s Word and Dr. McGee are very clear: God loves us and He hates sin. That’s what Christophe in Rwanda is learning. Here’s his story:
“Greetings in the name of Jesus. I would like to express the impact of this program in my life. I started to listen in the beginning of last year. I was someone who was involved in the earthly pleasures: drinks, money, sex, and night clubs. But, by listening to the program, I heard that everything we need on earth will stay on earth and I will go under earth as I came. This provoked in me great fear. So, I decided to confess and repent. Now, I want to serve the Lord and try very hard to avoid what I know He does not value. Thank you for helping me know Him better. Please pray for me. I want to be wise and follow God.”
That’s a great request. Let’s pray Proverbs 9:10 for everyone on the Bible Bus in eastern Africa and for each of us as well:
Heavenly Father, give us understanding hearts and fear of Your great and glorious majesty. As we study together, increase our knowledge and draw us close. We want to know You better and praise You with all that we have. Each day help us to walk in Your grace and make decisions that please You. In the name of Jesus who makes all this possible, amen.
