The truth found in Psalm 42

As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. -Psalm 42:1-2
“Something was missing in my life.” That’s what we hear from Georgia in Greece. Here’s her story:
“I’m a housewife. My days are full, but my heart was empty. I was navigating the internet, and I saw some postings of your program. They caught my attention, and I started to follow the page.
“Afterward, I started to listen to the programs. I was drawn in immediately. From that time on, I have been listening every day. I began to yearn to hear more. I could not understand what was happening to me. When I heard your teaching on Psalm 42, it all became clear. I have needed God. As I study His Word, my spiritual thirst becomes greater. Coming closer to Him is a need as great as drinking or eating each day. And when I open my Bible to study and to pray, I am satisfied. What a discovery!
“My family is not Christian, but they have started to listen to the program with me. Pray for them, please. God bless you for sharing the Word of God with us!”

Thank you, Father, that in You our souls can be completely satisfied. As we study Your Word, develop in us a deeper thirst with each passing day. And use us, Lord, to pour out Your hope to others in need. In Jesus’ name, amen.
