He satisfies every hunger, every hurt, every hole in our lives

“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” -Jeremiah 31:25
A difficult marriage. A serious health concern. A crippling addiction. Whatever we face, God’s Word tells us He’s ready to meet us in our sorrow and satisfy our needs. Thulani, who hops aboard the Bible Bus in Zulu, agrees and asks us to pray. Here’s his story:
“I am unemployed, have two children, and am writing this message to thank you for your sermons. I have been living a nightmare and feel as though I am finally free. Through your teaching I have found Jesus Christ. The stories about Him and lessons I’ve learned have revived me. Please pray that I do not return to old habits. I have a problem of relapsing on alcohol and smoking cigarettes. I have quit for months or sometimes even a year, but I always go back. Now I am trying again, and with God’s help intend to quit for good! I also have a dream of becoming a pastor one day. I really love God with all my heart, and I love praying and reading His Word. May God bless you.”
As we thank God for this new brother, let’s pray Jeremiah 31:25 for all those who are relying on God to fulfill their needs and answer their prayers:
Thank You, Lord, that You forgive us of our sins and give us everything we need to live a life that pleases You. We realize that when we rely on our own strength, we become weary and fall. So, today, we turn to You and Your Word to satisfy every need we have—every hunger, every hurt, and every hole in our lives. We are grateful for the freedom You offer in the power of Your name. We call upon You today and ask for Your strength and guidance to move forward. In Jesus’ name, amen.
There is so much to be thankful for. The party of praise continues tomorrow in the USA.
