Life is hard, but God is good
September 27, 2023
The Psalms show us how to turn every situation into an occasion to worship.
If we are sad … we should worship.
If we are glad … we should worship.
If we are in dark … we should worship.
If we are in the light … we should worship.
-From Why Study Psalms?
Life is hard, but God is good. That’s what we’re learning as we study the Psalms together on the Bible Bus, and that’s also what we hear from a listener in Nigeria. She shares:
“My family is always with you every morning during your teachings. Three years ago I had an accident and, as it is, I cannot move. I stay home and listen together with my family to the messages you give us in this program. I found comfort as I have studied the Psalms with you. I have learned to cry before the Lord and at the same time praise Him. Thank you very much. May the Lord continue to strengthen you.”
It’s true. God stands ready to receive our joy and our sorrows. Pray more people in Nigeria turn to Him with both today. As they do, may they be reminded of the glorious promises He has given for all who trust in Him.
