“For many years I felt inadequate in my Christian life. I didn’t think I had much to offer.”
That’s the beginning of a letter we received from a listener who hops aboard the Bible Bus in her language of Swahili. Here’s more of her letter:
“Your teaching on 1 Corinthians 12 changed my thinking. I realized that God has suited me for certain tasks within my church, and I began to look for them. I now guide other women and encourage them to do the same. Thank you for helping me understand that I have a purpose and place. I am now confident in serving God.”
We all have a gift to contribute that the rest of the body of Christ needs. What’s yours? Today as we pray for God’s Word as it goes out in the language of Swahili, ask Him to show each of us how we can use our gifts to the fullest.
