Do your circumstances draw you to Him?

“Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father.” -John 6:65
“Covid was a gift to me.”
That’s what we hear from Lili in Hungary. She explains:
“I don’t often search for something to listen to, but because of the virus, I needed something uplifting. There was so much bad news. Miraculously I happened upon the Word of God. There are many blessings through this show. I now pass it on to everyone I know so they can hear it too. I wish you many blessings as you continue to share Jesus with others.”
Over and over on the World Prayer Team (and throughout the Bible) we see how God uses our circumstances to draw us closer to Him. The good, the bad, the outrageous, the mundane—-whenever there is an open door to our hearts, He patiently waits for our distractions to be removed and our focus to be clear.
Thank Him for that today in your life and for all those He is drawing to Him today. As His Word is heard on THRU the BIBLE in Hungary let’s use John 6:65 to guide our prayers:
Father, thank You for Your Word that tells us that You draw us to Jesus. Because of Your great love and mercy, we pray you open ears, eyes, and hearts in Hungary to respond to the truth. Through Your grace, we pray many are saved. Whatever their circumstances today, use them to draw many to the grace and mercy that God offers them in Christ. In His beautiful name, amen.
In this crazy and sinful world, how can I live for God? That’s the question a listener in the Czech Republic asks tomorrow. We’ll meet you there.
