Praying against spiritual apathy in Switzerland

“For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed,” says the Lord, who has mercy on you. -Isaiah 54:10

Grab your hiking boots and a warm jacket; we’re off to explore the breathtaking landscapes of Switzerland—a country renowned for its majestic mountains and diverse culture. Yet, beyond its natural beauty and prosperity, many people in Switzerland are spiritually searching, longing for something deeper and more meaningful.

At the same time, Switzerland's Christian heritage, church attendance, and involvement have significantly declined. Many Swiss now consider themselves non-religious. God’s Word needs to awaken hearts to the peace and purpose found in a relationship with His Son, Jesus Christ.

Let’s pray:

Father, thank You for the beauty and blessings You have poured out upon Switzerland. We are grateful for Your promise in Isaiah 54:10. We pray that this truth resonates deeply in the hearts of the Swiss people. As Your Word goes out, may it break through spiritual apathy and draw many back to You. Let Your kindness and peace be known throughout this nation. We are grateful for Your mercy and that You wait patiently to welcome those who turn to You in faith. In Jesus’ name, amen.
